Memoir of An American Rover is set over 500 years after an apocalyptic event which destroyed a large majority of Earth's technology. This page is dedicated to the world of the short story (which is yet to be completed).
The Event
The cause for this apocalyptic event is unknown to the inhabitants of the world. The most widely accepted belief is that of a incredibly large solar flare or a gamma ray burst, which could of produced an electromagnetic pulse large enough to put a majority of earth's electronics out of use.
